I did my masters from northwestern poly technical university in xian
The city was small so relatively cheaper and that's the rule for a majority of countries that smaller cities are cheaper ...
And Chinese you can learn best only in china best because there are native speakers there ... You will learn best from here...
Experience in china was great, great place to live in and very very peaceful; Europe ki just baatien hain, china really is amazing...

Halal food is easily available and I would just add here that a person wanting to have halal food will get halal food anywhere in the world. That's been my experience, china usually has Muslim population except for guang dong province but even there you can have fish and vegetables. Allah is no doubt very kind if one treads his path.
And lastly about jobs, your visa probably won't allow that but people do jobs there which usually are related to English teaching, they earn competitive salaries. However others have gotten jobs in engineering or have invested in business to and from china and earned a lot ... Again I would some it that Allah makes ways :-)

Miss M Anwar sent me both provisional and final award letters simultaneously and instructed me to apply for visa in the mean while, I have not yet prepared all the required documents;

What document are required with final award letter at Turkish Embassy?
How much time does it take to process the visa?
Has any one here applied for Turkish Visa?

Default Legal Documents Attestation Process

Dear All, I have did the attestation process today and I will share my experience with you, so that someone who didn't, will do it easily.

1. Use 2 witnesses throughout(it will be easy for you), fill the forms first and attest if from witnesses, guarantor, and govt. officer for guarantor.

2. Go to Notary Public, and attest all the pages from them but remember that they must put the register number. (Don't give more than 300 rupees)
3. Go to the Judicial Magistrate(in Kachehri) and sign from him the two documents. (Remember he will check the photocopy of guarantor NIC+ the photocopy of Immovable property)

4. For the sign of the Sub Registrar, you have to go to the Revenue Department(Khazana), and he will sign very easily.

P.S: You don't have to bring Guarantor or witnesses to any place, one can do alone.

As I have experienced,
Presence of guarantor & witnesses is only necessary in front of Judicial Magistrate & Sub Registrar.

For Surety bond I had give them extra money (Rishwat) to process it from Registry head office, which is a division level office, otherwise they were saying it will take 2-3 months.

Well, it's depend upon from City to City and Province to Province. I did it without presence of any guarantor and witness, and without any bribe.

1) visa application form
2) one passport size photograph with white background
3) BS degree and Transcript
4) admission letter
5) international travel health report
6) HEC letter for funding
7) photo copy of passport
8) visa fee (5500 Rs)
9) original passport
10) Air Ticket Booking.

One can get Turkish visa in one day from Turkish Embassy in Islamabad.

Link to Turkish visa and application form:

http://www.islamabad.emb.mfa.gov.tr/...rServices.aspx

1.Police certificate is not required for visa process

2.Health certificate must be certified by the MS (Medical superintendent) of the hospital. Report must state that you physically fit to travel abroad

3.It is possible that they issue you visa the same day. Visa would be of 3 months 90 days only

4.Tick the option of Single entry

when you will arrive here, you have to apply for resident permit. which will be valid for the time period of your study. Although often they issue it for one year.

(These are the answers from one of HEC Scholar Jawad Nizamani, currently studying in METU)

Default student dependents / family visa

Does anyone have any information about the requirements of dependent visa for turkey? I am planning to move to turkey with family. What are the additional requirements of visa for family members? Is there anybody else on the forum who would be going to turkey with family? The embassy website doesn't give any info on that matter.
