pattern of 2013??? those topic which u already shared in this discussion???

1) How to find that which of the country from the list of countries mentioned for this scholarship program offers MS/PHD in our field of study?
NOTE:
My field: Engineering
2) How to know that which of the universities of the offering countries take part in this scholarship program? In order to know that the field they offers, meet the field in which we studied at graduation level/master's level.
NOTE:
I did B.E in the field of Electronics.

Does anyone know about it accurately? Plz let me know.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but you are right. I did my Masters from UK on one of these schemes. Mine was even more competitive. You have to come back to Pakistan in most cases, and then search for a job on your own. Government does not do _______ for those coming back. Further any of the scholarships even those known as HEC scholarships are not paid by HEC or Govt of Pakistan, not a single penny. Scholarships are either paid by foreign country ministries or the foreign universities. HEC or IPC just nominates and selects candidates, and then they ask you to come back. They are not doing a good job these HEC guys.

This post is not political, but salute to the government during 2008-13, which cut HEC budget instead of asking them to use that budget on students. No one has been sincere to the youth of this country or to education in the country, except General Musharraf's government who appointed Dr Atta ur Rehman, who in turn started all those foreign scholarships in the first place. Not a single scheme has been added to these scholarships post 2007.

I have done Bsc(hons) in Agriculture and Msc(Hons) in Food Technology, I have applied for this scholarship.

Can someone please tell me what will be the syllabus for Agriculture category Test ?

If it's based on Agriculture then please recommend me some good books for preparation that i should study to prepare for the test, I haven't studied Agriculture in the past 3 years considering my MS was in Food Sciences(which is one of the major subject of Agriculture including 11 others).

Also What's the usual merit for selection for this scholarship, I am from Punjab.

Hi, once you are nominated and shortlisted based on NTS test score, they will tell you for which country have you qualified, and then provide you a list of participating universities from that country. You have to provide 3 options then.

I qualified for this scholarship in 2013 for a MBA in China. I gave them 3 choices, they themselves got me admission in one, although it was the last one :p. I even received the visa form to submit to the embassy (Visa form was already filled to my pleasure). So it was a done deal. I did not go because I got another funding in UK.

Then to my surprise, after a month they asked me if I wanted to go to Turkey instead, I remember they proposed Balakant University perhaps. I told them I was going to UK. So they are actually fairly good once you clear the test. Mr Anwar Farooq Sadozai in IPC, the section officer is quite a good man, he is not like other government officers. So do not worry, focus on the test first.
