Well I don`t think that written result will be the key for selection. Psychological test is the major thing that can pick a nill candidate and also drop a high scoring candidate. Psychological test can entail

Most suitable
Suitable
Unsuitable

So if a candidate is having marks 60 but he falls under the category of most suitable, he is going to get interview call letter.

This is purely my opinion. Because all key positions need mental suitability. They called those candidates in psycho test who were intelligent enough to pass the written. The rest depends on Psyche of candidate whether is enough capable to meet the job requirements. So no one needs to be panic if he has low marks or high marks.

Brother there was only bench mark for written. Now the bench mark will be psyche of the candidate. So neglect those who sharing such type of information because that information is not from NAB HR department. NAB HR might have some other plans so chill

Those who are waiting for psychological result in the form marks should be cleared that there is no marks of psychological test. Only two conditions apply either Yes or No (accepted or rejected).

Even if a candidate have the highest marks in subjective test and he does not meet the psychological standards of the post, he will be rejected. Psychological test is qualitative and not quantitative in nature.

So there will not be any kind of merit list regarding psychological test. Only candidates will be filtered out from it who meet the standards of normal personality for the post. And merit will be according to previous subjective test result.

But surely in interview questions will be raised by the panel from psychological responses of the candidates. So those who give there natural and positive responses should be relax and those who give artificial response should prepare to justify their responses. And interview will have marks.

This is the rule which is followed in CSS, IB, ISI and at all other places where psychological tests are taken.

Suitability clause is about the matching of ones personality with the job description....if a person is violent or aggressive he or she will not be selected for a job which requires patience and calmness... similarly a person whose personality test shows corrupt mindedness he or she will be not selected for a job which requires integrity and honesty, as in the NAB.

About 70% its not right to say that candidates having above 70% marks will only be called for interview....... if NAB has enough candidates who have secured above 70% marks for the vacant positions then this policy will be followed..... otherwise the people securing less marks will also be called for interview.
bro ur discussion concludes that psychological test is playing a key role in this recruitment even if u have scored 90 but u are not according to their standards thn 90/100 is just a waste..right ??

Yes....it is like this way and followed by every organization where psychological test is conducted.
But no need to worry as there are very rarer chances that personality clash occurs with the job description.

Saud Khan 70% marks criteria is only for Punjab as they r going to call only 15% candidates who appeared in psychological and r not liable to suitaiblility clause. Since, there are no of candidates with more than 70 marks in punjab than any body can easily predict that only those who r above 70 marks will b the lucky one.

Dear Thanks for your reply to the post . I am unable to understand certain points raised in your reply.
1 . If selection is based only on written test then why they took psychological test as if that wasn't important to recruit the right fit ?? and how do we know what is suitable personality to get recruited in NAB as AD.(explain suitability clause)
2 . What if they don't find people with 70% marks in Sindh because as per my information there is only one person who got 70% marks in initial test taken on 23rd July 2012 by NTS

Please reply

May Allah bless all.
MYG plz chk Rao Adeel's post he has given ur ans quite briefly.

Thumbs up

psychological test will play major role in selection of a candidate,,, a candidate scoring 70+ may get rejected because of unsuitable psyche to be selected for NAB ..................
