Yeah that's what everyone is hoping for. Plus increment would only be made after completion of training.

Well it depends on how much experience one has attained. Those who are fresh or recently started working won't be facing any slow down.

i called today at lahore office. they said that they have no idea when will be the next phase announced.
this is highly unprofessional attitude showned by them. i'm fed-up of this waiting waiting and waiting.
TCS!!! simply tell us whether you'll appoint us or not

About the pay package:
I have heard from a source that the pay package would be, Starting Rs.20,000/- for initial first six months then increase upto Rs.25,000/-, as far as benefits are considered, you will be entitled for every company given benefits such as Provident Fund, Medical, Leaves etc

20,000PKR starting salary? Pfft! What are they even thinking, they could have saved themselves from the trouble of conducting such a massive recruitment program by just recruiting though normal practices if they were to offer such a low salary. I am sure out of the final selected candidates many might refuse their offer due to low salary package.

Also They should have ruled out on-job candidates in the first phase. In the assessment phase there were many on-job guys, and mostly were about to complete their first year which means they would definitely be earning more than 20k in their current organization.

Others who are fresh, may not find this as a good starting salary which may affect their future salary range. Mostly the selected candidates were from IoMB or SZABIST. I doubt that they would agree on such a salary package.

They can't be this stupid, to shatter their rigorous recruitment process just due to a low salary package. It should be 25k at least.

A bank clerk who doesn't even have proper education earns about 15k..5k difference for a person with 6 years of professional education? Give me a break!

How come people are saying that they know the salary range of 20k?
When the interviewer (HR person) herself said that it would be between 30k to 50k during the assessment center break?

Islamabad guys have done the assessment phase last week.

Salary will be 25 k , maximum. I don't know how HR person have said 30 to 50.
Hiring process is extra slow. Salary is very low . But their procedure and phases for hiring are as of world renowned MNCs.

There are four stages in assessment phase.

1. Group case study: you will be given time to read that individually first, then group discussion and finally you will have to make presentation on chart in 5 minutes only and deliver after that. Beware of the time factor.

2. Individual case study: you will have to do it individually and remaining process will be same as described above.

3. Value assessment: You have to select particular set of values from the given ones. After that you will be given a form mentioning TCS values and you will have to match your values with those of TCS's. So, remember the values you write in the first form.

4. Business game: You will be given any game which will show you abilities of carrying out team work .
