By the way I think you guys were right about the salary expectations. It would be quiet lower compared to the industry. I have no inside information, I just assumed it When I asked the HR Manager at Lunch about the salary range for MTO Program, he, kind of ignored the question and started talking about going for a job which is good for the career and not for the higher salary. In other words he was trying to say don't expect much.
Btw it does make sense too, TCS not a multinational, but a national company who is hiring 50 MTOs. If you set 40k salary then for 50 candidates per year expense would come out to be around 2.4 Crores. I don't think they would wana incur such costs just for training 50 candidates. In addition to that companies have to make Insurance premium payments on behalf of their employees and contribute in the provident fund. That's why i think salary range would be around 20k-25k |

It doesn't matter what salary are they going to offer. What really matters is the appointment letter so that people who have other options can decide what to pursue. Since the results have been compiled so I don't see a reason of delay any further.

I am optimistic dude. A word of advice for you if you get a chance to work for TCS, especially in their HR department. Kindly make sure whenever next time their MTO is announced, it should be timely and without any delays.

why they ain't announcing the list of selected candidates. If i keep on waiting for TCS then i am gona lose other options. They should announce it already the following documentation and verification process would take time. Atleast they should let the people know who got IN.

It may be the Half yearly closing, which may be causing this delay. They might be busy closing off their books and stuff.

What does HR has to do even if it's year end. Disappointing stuff from TCS. Every single time you call, they are like it will come in the next week and so on. They should at least provide us a fixed date of result announcement.
