Trotsky leave Hamza and Leghari, they have previous. What i would like to know is how soon do you think your service conditions will improve? Also what info do you have about service in Peshawar, any ideas? And one final thought, if you could choose another group now apart from obvious ones like DMG/ Psp, i am talking remaining options, which would you prefer over IRS? Thanks once again

Society's problem is Islamic Extremism to be fair. That is a pointless discussion to have right now, so i'll leave that. You misunderstand me sir, i don't mean from perspective of asaish, i meant in the sense whether there will be an office, staff to get work done and more importantly actual work. From what i understand of your posts, there doesn't seem to be any work, or any accountability of performance.I don't want to sit in an office all day with nothing to do, making stuff up as i go.Also do you see any chance to get more people to pay tax?

trotsky sir,

last year performance of fbr was super good.howcome they can perform better without proper working conditions for irs officials?govt. is trying really hard to widen the tax net which means increased responsibility for irs and of course improved working conditions.the tax collection last year was about 1590 billion.the point in telling all this is that all these things imply that irs should be a good group.whats your say in this regard?

is all hue and cry of reformation in irs is false?

do you think that conditions would improve after some time?

MJ tax collection in this country is a joke. That FBR figure is filled with sales tax.Direct tax i.e. income tax which is the more fair version since it targets people with higher income as opposed to sales tax which targets rich and poor alike is absolutely pathetic.Of the 180 million Pakistanis, only 1.7 million Pakistanis pay any income tax.Of these 1.7 million, 1.6 million pay the base minimum income tax of 21,000 PKR which is the tax on monthly salary of 25,000.This tax is also not paid voluntarily but cut from salaries before they are paid to recipients.Pakistan has the lowest tax to GDP ratio in Asia, IRS is probably the most depressing group in all the Civil Service simply because so many people don't pay any tax at all!

But i would like to ask Trotsky about working conditions in places other than Karachi? Also what actions can they take against tax cheats?

with ref to trotsky59's posts.....

bro well its a problem at bigger RTO's like Khi , Lahore , FSD, where u find a lot of such difficulties.... i was posted @ RTO lahore originally but latter got myslef transferred to RTO Islamabad, because of some family considerations. . . here im getting official vehicle with fuel card. . . . and office conditions are also better. . . it is a slow process and i hope conditions at major RTOs also get better with gradual passage of time. things are getting better shape gradually...
as far ur pay and bills issues...yes i also faced this problem while at Lahore, cos bigger the organisation, more delayed are ur bills and pay changes.....

Above three posts appears to me as WIKILEAKS FOR IRS ASPIRENTS!!

I request all CSP members on this forum to objectively evaluate this post, to what degree it is correct!!!

Also highlight that is Mr.Trotsky59 is the only one who is victim of this situation or there are many?

@trotsky59

Sir, What is your job description at this post? I think you should take guidance from someone experienced around you any colleague or even boss.

For just few days, just focus on a single file, study it, take it along with you to your boss with proper appointment and take discussion with him in light mode, and when iron is red hot, ask him how to proceed with that case, also mention him that you need a lot of guidance specially from the one like him ( Buttering!! ) I think he will explain and help you.

I do no think you are victim of IRS, i think you have some how make your boss angry. Because he must be friendly to you as you are a new appointee and expecting a lot of work from a new appointee without proper guidance is not understandable.

I think you should focus more on your boss then your file and tax books!! At least for now!!

I totally agree with you. I think it's better to concentrate on going abroad for Masters rather than giving css.
