dear.you have raised a good point. a common problem generally faced by many candidates relates to interpretation of a law. we may also be beset with this problem. so we should discuss all provisions of the ord in lay man's language so that we may enjoy its understanding; reading, discussing and understanding in the legal terminology would be of no avail. raz bhai and all senior member are also requested to participate in and assess our discussion.

so far as the scope of the co ord is concerned, raz bhai has greatly facilitated us by dividing the section into slabs.

Why are you oppressed dear? You need not cram these sections, just clear your concepts.

@Raz: Sir I was just stuck to have a book which itself seems to be a separate subject rather than a part of ML... But we are no more afraid, because we have great brother (Raz).

@The Uniter: Brother I am starting company ordinance from today. I will wait for your reply.

Wa-Alaikum-o-Asalam

FPSC continues a particular trend for approx: 3 years. Phase of easy papers in Mercantile Law seems to be ending on 2012 paper. This trend took little bit start in CE-2009 by reducing the number of case studies and CE-10/CE-11/CE-12 were free of case studies. You may expect revival of case studies in CE-2013.
My suggestion would be same as follows:

http://www.cssforum.com.pk/122651-post4.html

It is better to be on safe side. Don't ignore case studies at all. Even if exam doesn't test your expertise to solve case studies, it is better to read case studies for clarity of concepts in theoretical and section-wise study. Case study polishes your concepts.

Regarding Books: Don't go through all the books, just select any two books.

1) Bare Acts
2) Any one book from:
Luqman Baig (Main book for reference) vs M.C. Shukla vs M.C. Kuchel vs Cheema

3) Relevant sections from Companies ordinance + Summary of Arbitration Act + Life insurance from any other relevant book.

Thank you so much for your valuable guideline. unfortunately, i had taken this subject very easy in CE2012 and got only 16 marks. And it was the result of only 3-4 days preparation. But this year, despite having background, i am taking it serious and will make my own notes. Raz bhai one last question, as i am going with Bare acts and Cheem,s book, how to get bare acts? is it available on net?
http://ma-law.org.pk/pdflaw/Negotiab...Act%201881.pdf
Are you talking about this bare acts?
