It is because the military has usurped power for 34 years, for rest of the period the country experienced military-controlled democracy, these retired military guys sneak into the management positions in local private companies through references or for enticement for the owners that military guys would come for their rescue during crisis by former’s contacts in the government. Those retired guys with back use their sources to get absorbed in public sector organizations. At both places, they still fossilize their colonial thinking of despising the civilians and regard their new organization as their garrison. That is why you heard a tart response from the colonel the other day. You don’t see many retired military officers in multinational companies as these companies mind business.

In my previous posts, I really didn’t intend to offend you. I do not even know you, so I do not have any hard feelings for you. I am a straightforward woman and just spoke up how I saw you. I want you to correct your assumptive thinking patterns. Do not form opinions on assumption and guess. Now, forgive me as your sister if you feel hurt. I am sure you won’t read my posts on this thread.
It is pleasure to hear that a sister has understood, to some extent if not fully, my decency. Unfortunately your assessments regarding many other participants seems quite absurd. Please don't use the adjectives that hurt people.

I am like an ordinary Pakistani who understands the rules of business and the norms. It is true how the Armed Forces of Pakistan had and has been running this poor country. The multi faced institutions can not survive for long. On the one hand they are now organizing a day of Aashiq-e-Rasool and asking people to come on the roads peacefully while their strategic tasks at Military Bureaucratic level are having green signals. I hope my point, like an ordinary Pakistani, has reached you.

Regarding my assumptions and opinions let me ask you a simple question. What do you think about the people of Balochistan are they traitors or patriotic? Definitely your assumption will be patriotic. It would be only your assumption. If you ask the same question in an office where you see people of Civil Bureaucracy and Military Bureaucracy you will hear a complete opposite account. The thing is that what one does not hear or sea with his own ear and eyes can not be a cent percent fact. Rather one usually takes the help of his experiences and suggestions based on opinions and assumptions. Those opinions and assumptions can not be tagged with a divine certificate of the truth. Remember one can never be a good manager until and unless he/she can not analyses situations hypothetically.

As you said in your previous post that I don't know who you are. This assumption on your point is wrong. I am not wrong, I do not want to bring this personal subject here, I know who you are as I know your family. Don't ask me further dear Sister Woman.

Thumbs up!

Hurrah! you got it.

So, what is in the Family Name, it is just an identity. Thats it.

thank you for realising that name's just an identity. not reflective of one's personal self!

Well I think you never understood me properly. I do say that a family identity is just an identity. But it starts pinching me if I see someone with some good jargons to attack linguistically with no proper knowledge of the situation. For example, I never stopped you for the word "caste" as you described in one of your post.

This word is systematically brought in to this land of pure by few fanatics. It is usually used for people of Old Indus Civilization with grading of class of society. In this perspective I hate this word instead I like it be replaced with the words family name. This makes me feel good.

Anyway still we are miles apart on many things as I have felt.

Sister skymarshall
Firstly, sorry about the gender mistake as I was thinking that you are a male. Just by having the name 'sky' attached to your id does not mean that you can fly in the sky and use language about others that induces wrath among other members of the forum. You were telling that I have a defective mindset. The way you are talking to other members is an indication of your infected mind. I would like to close this chapter on the point that don't tell me that I do not know about the institutional structure in Pakistan and how military dictators have ruled the country even during times of democracy. This discussion would irritate other people on this forum, that's why I do not want to go in any further details.
I f you want to discuss anything related to history of Pakistan or Indian subcontinent, start another thread and I will tell you if I know anything.
