Dear,How many times i have to state my intentions of joining this thread? I just shared a picture of an organization, what i experienced. Who am i to force someone and how could i force? On this forum, the candidates share their experiences with other candidates, that's what i did. I stand by every word of mine, no body can challenge me regarding the veracity of my statements.

Why That "ustad sb" is poignant over my remarks, instead of supporting his answer by firm arguments, he attacked me personally. Iss leya ustad ki koi izzat ni hoti iss mulk may, and he proved, ustad,lecturers,principals are dying after govt jobs in which they can have some "Respect" and claim themselves "officers". They live in permanent inferiority complex.

So tell him, to live his life !

Here I want to thank you Mr. Bindas as well as Mr. 'N is best' for your painstaking efforts in letting other fellows know about the pros and cons of different organizations/institutions. From personal experience I can tell that this is a good service to members of this forum. After analyzing your comments regarding ASF I, in fact, refrained from joining it thereby not granting myself the opportunity to regret later by my decision to join ASF.
Sir may I dare ask a question that your goodself might well have heard/seen lots of times on not only this forum but also at other random places? I know it is prosaic but I really am curious to know about it as you are topper and have a real methodical approach to things. Cut to the chase, Sir can you have a little bit of time to guide me regarding preparation of 100 mcqs paper. Yes, I want to know your personal experience. Also it will be a great service to other members who are striving to clear this exam. I really wonder how people can top this exam. You know, including you there are legends on this forum. Your personal experience will be highly appreciated sir.

I know this thread is not likely to be a proper place to ask for such a guidance but I just couldn't resist. Every time some people adopt real approach and keep on clearing nearly all the exams. Some get a semblance of arrogance after topping the exam or perhaps I'm thinking in a biased way, you know what I'm pointing to sir.

The thing is you bashed upon every agency, you yourself dragged AD MoD along with IB in this discussion.. & we read your valuable comments. The reason I responded to your comments was you were crossing limits in sharing your opinions even, & it's not about me, it's about all other selected candidates who you are demotivating by your so called experience. You seem to be highly ease loving man.
Now listen, leave it here, sorry for any hurting comments, but my intentions were solely to mend your arrogant behaviour of being the Only Experienced man on the face of earth.

Ustaab cum officer sb A Mule can't be a Horse, no matter how much she pretends. An Ustaad with MOD card can't make you a soldier. And people on this forum knows that before, i was in police department (Prison especially) as Assistant Superintendent, I had both Danda,authority but humility as well. I used to sit in meetings of law and order with CM,chief secretary,Home secretary,IG police and always represented my department in various seminars. I had faced the wrath of high court and Supreme court, in cases related to our department, and its not easy, when CJ high court threatens you to send you to jail if there is some problem or weakness in your case, many people use to weep there.
I had my own govt quarter, had a govt cook, one batman, and one warder on my disposal for security. Before leaving department, I was an acting Deputy Superintendent , in the most powerful and sensitive prison in out province.
And when you walk inside or outside your department, a dozen of guards accompanies you, weaving their weapons in the air, but my nature is very different, i wanted a kind of job which is free from all those fake protocols and a civilian one. Alhamdullah i got it. and i am much satisfied now.

Such was the level of respect, that whenever i use to visit islamabad, the motorway tool plaza staff never charged me a single penny, and whereever i went, i was always treated as VIP, but again these formalities didn't attract me.

Brother Lazar! would you please mind throwing some light on the way to prepare for MCQs. I just hope that you could contribute in the light of your personal experience as it may be a good deed for greater benefit of many members of this forum.

Well yar truly speaking it was a general paper, if you are good at solving statements type questions of maths, riddle solving type aptitude, it will be an edge, plus prepare GK, & English grammer, be in touch with news & papers,

In my view, mcq's preparation is more tough and boring than preparation for subjection type paper, coz here the candidate focus is more about cramming thousands of dates and events.
anyhow, you start with book MCQs of carvan series by ch ahmad najib. while reading that book, you must have internet, try to dig into the history of each and every mcq's. more importantly do regularly consult internet and read random mcq's. thousands of websites are there if you try to search it in google.
the second book you will buy is MCQ's for all by jahangir publisher's written by shahrukh niazi, these book books will be a starter for your concepts.

i have been preselected for interviews of custom inspector, appraising officer and preventive officer ( FBR). After being selected in IB, should i go for these interviews?

Listen, there is no shortcut , you must always be curious, always wanting to know. Leran from everyone, daily visit cssforum. I had been solving the MCQs papers of all competitive exams of all public servuce commissions uploaded by candidates from past 5 years, and that really changed me. I am now in position that Alhamdullah i can't fail any mcqs test no matter how tough it is. read wikipedia history pages, try to note all important dates and events. you must have command over world history. for islamiat read Qasasul anbiya, tazkira auliya karam, tafsir ibn kasir etc. you must be very good in international law and international relations including international organizations. So, if you start preparing form today, IA in an year or two, you will be able to pass 80% of tests in which you appear.

You must appear for the interview, but don't tell the commission that you are already selected as AD IB.
Apprising officer is back bone of not only pakistan customs but also FBR, the most powerful post. He gets double salary, 50k plus. Evaluation officer evaluates millions of worth goods daily, but promotions are very slow, it nearly takes 10-15 years to get promoted to AC customs, but once promoted, then further promotions is fast.
I pray you are selected, then its your volition to keep either AD IB job or customs.
