TCS please call now. At least tell me that I'm not selected but please call now. Tired of this waiting waiting n waiting.

Today i visited tcs office here, acquire about the Mtos result and they told it will be finalized in the mid of Ramzan. The HR guy also told me that you will be given ten to fifteen days to say good bye if you are working somewhere.
The interview for different posts were also in progress when i get there, so we can understand the workload on their HR team. Keep waiting friends

I just got an email from TCS careers. Now they will invite for Realistic Job Preview. Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore candidates will be invited on 17, 25 and 26 July respectively... Hopefully the job will start after eid

Alright so I received that email aswell.

So that means we have been selected? The text of the email describes that in a very vague manner, so confirming it. Good to seem them applogizing for this delay.

Tentative date for RJP is 17th July, 2013 for Karachi.

I got the following response:
"Based on results, you did not meet the passing criteria set for the Assessment Center but since you are close to it, you have qualified for our waiting list"

What about others?

Yayyyy! I think i got the Job! I am glad i have not signed the bond with HMB yet! Does qualifying for Realistic Job Preview means i Got In? Any Idea about the Package? beacuse I have to make decision by 15th July. HMB's Program starts from 15th.

I got the same email, so I think they will be detailing the salary and job description in the RJP.

That date is still tentative so it can move ahead. As Karachi will be done first, I will update our Lahorian fellows about the Salary package.

@Swift..sorry to hear that man, but if some selected candidates drop their seats they will contact you. Keep your hopes up as few seats will be left vacant.

Just received a call from TCS HR confirming that I have been selected for the MTO program. Further details will be communicated later (venue and timings) but she confirmed the date which is 17th of July.

I got the confirmation call too at around 3:15 PM, But this time from Karachi Head Office. That stupid lady didn't tell me what the salary package would be. I told her that i have another option and i wana make a decision so If u would plz give me just a rough idea of what the package would be around, it would be a lot easier for me to decide,,,, nahe jee wooh to app ko 26th july ko hee pata chalay gaa... Ok! then atleast confirm that i am IN and there is no possibility that i get rejected later once i leave the other option... "Yes.. u r IN". ABCD do you have any idea about the training period? would that be class room training or on the job training? and in which department we would be placed in? and would the package be around 25k as we assumed earlier 10k loss right away!

It seems like some senior guys from TCS gona take the RJP. which gives me the creeps that there still gona be some kind of shortlisting. If it was just an informal interview to us know about the Salary Package, working hours etc, then this could have been done by the Regional HR staff at LHR as well and on the same date, 17th july. don't u think?

@Papupopat No I don't think that there will be any further shortlisting, they will just explain the culture, their expectations from us, the tasks which would be given to us and obviously the salary package. Some people may not find it attractive enough to leave their current job.

I can't say if they would offer us different Salary packages based on our education and experience..though it would be a pleasent surprize for me but I doubt that it will happen.

About your 10k loss, at least you can be satisfied with the fact that your income is not generated from interest based revenue.
