Ma'am, I think I've read this notification about posting of Women Govt. Servants. I will only be able to give you the Reference i.e. Notification No. and Date tomorrow.
I however remember that it says that the women Govt. employees will be posted at the working station of their Husbands, if married, and if the husbands are also in govt. service. Secondly, for unmarried female Govt. employees, they will be posted in the station where their family is residing. Regards

Cantts want MPAs` funds but not their say By Aamir Yasin RAWALPINDI, Dec 14: The cantonment boards in the country are so short of cash to keep the wheel of development going that they have started looking toward the elected representatives for funding. However, the cantonment authorities are not ready to give the parliamentarians a say in the affairs of their financial affairs. The 52 cantonment boards in the country are working under the administrative and financial control of Defence Ministry with their funding totalling Rs64.3 million coming from the government. Local station headquarters of the army look after their affairs with a serving brigadier heading the respective cantonment board as president. Sources told Dawn that the cantonment boards mainly depended on their own sources of income to meet the expenditure on establishment, health, education, provision of sewerage, drinking water, street lights and maintenance of roads etc. They said with increase in population, the cantonment boards were facing financial problems to bridge the gap between income and expenditure. Except a few cantonments located near big cities, the financial position of others did not allow launching of important development projects. They said in some cantonments, legislators faced difficulties as the local armed forces barred officials of cantonment boards from getting funds from legislators. Upon this, they said, the Ministry of Defence decided to formulate a policy and directed the Military Lands and Cantonments Directorate to submit its comments. The directorate wrote to the ministry requesting to allow it to utilise the funds from lawmakers.[ The letter said: “The issue of seeking funds from parliamentarians is not a problem with Military Lands and Cantonments Department. The problem is that local armed forces authorities have started discouraging cantonment boards from seeking funds from politicians for fear of their interference in cantonment affairs.” It suggested that the problem can be solved if services headquarters` allowed/encouraged the boards to seek development funds from parliamentarians. It is evident that the Ministry of Defence is not in a position to provide the development funds required by the cantonments. The cantonment boards, therefore, have no option but to seek financial help from elected representatives (MNAs/MPAs/senators) out of their allocated quota to improve the infrastructure as well as execution of development projects. When contacted, MNA from NA-56 (Rawalpindi Cantonment) Malik Abrar Ahmed said: “Cantonment authorities are not allowing us to start water schemes saying it would be done by RCB from its own resources. It is a strange attitude as the availability of clean drinking water is a basic problem in Rawalpindi.” However, he said, the legislators were not facing problems in Rawalpindi in construction of roads and streets. “We want to utilise the funds and prefer RCB for the launching of development works.” He said sometimes problems occurred but they were resolved after holding meetings with cantonment authorities. “As we are the people`s representatives and know well about the genuine problems of the residents compared to government officials, it would be better to consult legislators for launching of development schemes,” he said. This reporter tried to contact the director of Military Lands and Cantonments but he was not available. Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) Executive Officer Rana Manzoor Ahmed Khan told Dawn that the ministry was working on a policy regarding funding of development schemes by legislators and the Directorate of Military Lands and Cantonment had also got the comments of cantonment boards. “There is no problem in Rawalpindi as the RCB is getting funds from MNAs and MPAs for development projects. The station headquarters has not made any objection on the issue of inauguration of development schemes completed through funds provided by legislators.” cheers, floydian
