Nosheen its good effort. But dear look at following important points of the precis,

----- Title can be "Man's Exploration of Sea"

---- People's interest grown in the sea with time and its usefulness.

---- Exploration of sea is difficult becaz man shall never be able to set his foot on the floor of the ocean.

---- Man has been trying to get knowledge of the ocean.

---- Study of the ocans dates back to early mariners.

---- Initial interest of mariners was to sail through it but later on they pursuit it for practical everyday inquiry.

I hope you have understood the idea and all other members will write in the light of these suggestions.

With Best Regards

The Reasons for the Exploration of the Oceans and the Seas

In spite of the fact that the exploration of the seas is harder than that of the land or the air, interest in the oceans is increasing. Whereas earlier information regarding the waterways was gathered for helping in sea voyages and for commercial reasons, presently the purpose of sea exploration around the world is to gather knowledge about the oceans for scientific, practical, industrial and inquisitive reasons. Furthermore, curiosity for the things beneath the surface of the oceans, deep in the water, led to investigation of everything about the seas and within it. In the future, the quest for knowledge about the seas will be more pragmatic such as the excavation of food and minerals as compared to having just scientific applications.

@ Saira

Thanks for your words dear.

Here goes the next Paragraph

7th Paragraph

We all wish to change the structure of existing society, and usher in a Muslim society – one where there is equality and the fullest freedom – as early as possible. The problem is, how are we to build such a one in our country? Had Jinnah been here, he would have shown us the way. Under his inspiration we worked and fought for our independence. When we achieved freedom his disciples became the Government of the country and from that time I was considering whether it was possible to set up a society of Jinnah’s conception by legislation or through political power and leadership.

After independence the whole country looked to Lahore for action. I do not know how many believe that the State Government is capable of establishing a Muslim society. For myself, as the years passed I became more and more convinced that looking to Lahore was not Jinnah’s way. In Lahore we observe the normal processes of Parliamentary democracy: there is a ruling party, there is an Opposition, there are elections, there is a ruling party, there is an opposition, there are elections, there is a rule of the majority, and all the rest. But the people have realized that through the administrative machinery and by legislative enactments we cannot create the society of our dreams. No doubt state action can create a socialist society; it cannot make real the ideal of Muslims on earth.

The question remains, how is a Muslim Society to be brought about.

Untill independence we all used to swear by a constructive programme. Thereafter such work receded to the background. In consequence constructive workers thought that they would not rely on the Government but carry out items like spinning by themselves. But no worker believed in his heart that by such activity society would be transformed. Instances may be found for the implementation of spinning in villages, but that has not made for a jot of change in their social structure. Naturally therefore, there has been uncertainly and disillusionment and the problem persist for the constructive worker. Views have been put forward, but ideas are not yet clear. There are people in the administration who profess that they are loyal to the Muslim principle; but they also, apparently, are unable to do much to make it actual fact.

That we mush bring into existence a new society based on Muslims or the welfare of all alike has long been my faith. But I was long feeling my way to that goal, and the way became clear to me only as the Muslim movement grew. At long last a being a Muslim I decided to quit politics and devote myself to this movement. I believe that all persons who subscribe to the Muslim creed should enroll themselves in Muslim as the surest and speediest means to that end.

Thumbs up Analysis of 7th Paragraph

Detailed Analysis of Paragraph

Suggested Title: Way to Establish Muslim Society

First Paragraph

A Muslim society is to be established either though law or political power.

Muslim society means equality and freedom.

After independence, when Jinnah's disciples came to power, there were two ways; through legislation, through leadership to bring this society.

Second Paragraph

After independence people looked to the government for establishing Muslim society though it is neither Jinnah's way nor practical method.

After independence many people believed that government would create that society.

The writer became convinced that it was not Jinnah's method.

Despite parliamentary democracy, administrative machinery cannot create this society though it may create socialist society.

Third Paragraph

Our workers are disillusioned and administration is unable to make it a reality.

After independence constructive work was neglected, so some workers started on their own.

None of them believed that their efforts would succeed so they were disillusioned.

Administrators who consider themeselves loyal to Muslim principles have failed to make it a fact.

Fourth Paragraph

The movement is the way to achieve Muslim principle.

The writer could not find the way till he knew of Muslim movement.

At Muslim he quitted politics to devote himself to the movement.

All, who subscribe to Muslims should join this movement for achieving the end speedily.

I have read your complains about the passage next time I will try to add a passage that will appears to be interesting to you. But make yourself ready for any type of passage dry or interesting.

Pakistan needs to be careful in making its choices. It cannot afford to lose its friendship with Iran that has endured several crises. It also cannot keep on fighting American wars forever especially when it is left all alone to deal with the debris. Islamabad has already declared that it will stay neutral in the US -Iran imbroglio. It should now be ready to pay the price of neutrality. At the same time, Islamabad should not settle for any thing less than its demand for nuclear concessions similar to those being given to India. Islamabad should not be expected to separate its energy needs from security considerations in making decisions that may have long-term repercussions for the region.
