My optionals are psychology, sociology, punjabi and arabic.

Are these subjects good and scoring? How is the combination? Please tell me?

You have opted a very good combination . All of these are scoring subjects. If you pour in proper hard work , it has brighter prospects to prove to be a recipe of success in css.

You better to read the first post in this thread to know as what to be kept in mind while finalising a combination for css.
It's not 100 marks or 200 marks which matter , rather certain other things play their role.

Arabic , Journalism and punjabi are good. However , I have strong reservations on the selection of History of Indo Pak. This is a highly unstable subjects in terms of scores. Mostly , it remains a low scoring subject to the extent of remaining below 100. I have seen highly competent and experienced aspirants failing to cross 100. However , sometimes it gives good score also. But always one who has opted this subject is at risk. Owing to it's easier and familiar content most of he aspirants , having any academic background , feel themselves attracted towards this subject. However , one should avoid any such subject as can prove a nightmare.

Go ahead with arabic,punjabi and journalism ..but i would say that rethink about INDOPAK...AS you can cover 4 subjects of 100 marks in the same time as would be required to cover a single subject of INDOPAK..

As well as more scoring and stable subject is concerned , that is Philosophy. That is certain. However , it takes good amount of time and energy for it's promising preparation. Psychology is also among scoring subjects. However , more and more aspirants are opting this subject which , I am afraid , may bring this subject among average scoring subjects. As well as time factor is concerned , it takes fairly lesser time then philosophy. Now keeping in view this scenario, you yourself can reach a better conclusion. I may be leaving British History for my coming attempt. If I did so , I would be going one out of Psychology and Philosophy. Otherwise would retain British History. This means to tell you that both of Psychology and Philosophy are very good subjects. I most probably would be going for Philosophy.
